- 4.00 kg Pale Malt, Maris Otter
- 1.00 kg Rye Malt
- 500g Roasted Barley
- 500g Special B Malt
- 125g Black (Patent) Malt
- 35.00 g Columbus (14.50%) – Boil 60
- 25.00 g Columbus (14.50%) – Boil 15
- 15.00 g Columbus (14.50%) – Boil 5
- White Labs WLP001
Brew-in-a-bag, mash 90 minutes at ~67C.
Designed and brewed this with my friend Holden who is visiting me here in London. We brewed together a couple times back in the states, but I believe this is the biggest beer either of us have ever done. Target gravity was 1.095 and we ended up at 1.091 which I’m quite happy about. Will be about 3 weeks in the primary then we’ll bottle and let it age for a few months.
